Something You May Need To Hear
Every day, we face challenges, some small and manageable, and others so significant that they “seem” out of reach. Sometimes those situations make us ask “what should I do? & when we look around, we ask “who can I run to?” Sometimes it just feels like the weight of the world is on your shoulders, and SOMEHOW, we wish SOMEONE could hear our silent cries and help us to carry the burdens. If you happen to feel like this, know that you are not alone, know that you are not weak, and know that you have the capacity to handle everything that is entrusted to you!
See, life has a way of naturally beating us down. If it doesn’t come from childhood, it can come from a relationship, or a friend, someone, or something had an impact on our lives that, in one way or another, made us feel insufficient, not valued, or less than who we actually are. Sometimes, when situations get out of hand, we revert to thinking the way they made us feel, “little”. We go back to feeling helpless. But I’m here to combat that way of thinking. I may not know your life or what you’ve been through, but what I do know is that you are both tough and sweet at the same time, even if you must dig deep to uncover those qualities. You are a nurturer, but you also have moments when you long to be nurtured and understood. The Lord sees the weight you carry, and he sees how life tries to get the best of you some days. He sees how you fight to be the best for everyone you love, which can sometimes leave you empty. But allow me the honor of filling you up on his behalf! What I want you to know is that you are enough, I want you to know that you are a blessing, and I want you to know that you are needed!
Situations, challenges, and obstacles don’t get to take you out and steal your joy! They don’t get to discourage you and take your peace! They don’t get to dictate how your day is because you have the power to silence every negative thought. I want you to know you are seen. Whether you are a hardworking man trying to keep it together day by day, or a woman grinding hard to meet her needs. The Lord will never overlook you. You must understand that, through Jesus Christ, you have the authority to control your environment.
This may seem random, but I believe the Lord has placed me right here for you. I believe it is my duty to empower you and remind you of the woman or man you are. People don’t get to say who you are, and they don’t get to hold you to who you used to be. You decide that!
Prayer
I pray that the Lord gives you peace, not only in your mind but in your home. I pray that his love fills you so that you lack nothing. I pray that he takes every burden, every doubt, and every pain, and gives you an indescribable joy. I pray that your children bring you joy and that there be order in your home. I pray that you feel an instant change and experience a feeling of comfort and empowerment. I pray that you have a new type of freedom! I pray that you run to the Lord with your issues and won’t allow the enemy’s lies to lead you astray. I ask the Lord to change your desires from having the world to having a hunger and thirst for him! I pray that you find encouragement in knowing that the Lord sees you; He is just waiting for you to call on Him so He can intervene. Father God, cover this person with your love. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen!
